Through outreach and cancer detection camps, the program helps connect individuals with appropriate medical guidance and support. For patients diagnosed with cancer, the initiative also works to facilitate access to treatment assistance, encourage completion of the recommended treatment journey, and provide continued support during recovery and rehabilitation. By taking healthcare closer to rural communities, the program strives to reduce barriers to timely cancer care and create greater awareness about the importance of early diagnosis.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Swami Vivekanand Cancer Hospital responded to the urgent healthcare needs of the local community by temporarily adapting its facilities to provide free treatment and support to COVID-19 patients. The initiative was undertaken with the commitment of the hospital's doctors, healthcare staff, trustees, and community supporters to help patients access essential care during an unprecedented public health crisis. The organization also conducted COVID-19 training and preparedness initiatives in rural areas of Maharashtra to strengthen community awareness and readiness.
